Yes, we've previously published a post about holding, and you know that holding is a buy-and-forget investment strategy.
Essentially, a holder purchases cryptocurrencies at specific amounts and intervals without constantly tracking daily trading charts.
However, the question of "when to sell?" always remains relevant!
Here are two main approaches to this question:
- Hold until you achieve your desired growth.
- Hold until a specific point in time.
For example, you might decide to sell all (or a portion) of your assets once your investments double, even if it takes a decade. Perhaps you'll sell your coins when Bitcoin reaches the $100,000 mark or when you've saved enough to purchase a house.
The second approach could look like this: You consistently buy crypto for the next 10 years and plan to sell all or part of it in 2033, regardless of any tempting price spikes along the way.
These are just general ideas, but even with a straightforward investment strategy like holding, it's essential to have clear goals.
