Problems with Jewellery sellers' schemes:
• No flexibility. You're paying an EMI for a future purchase.
• You have to purchase from that jeweller whether you find it expensive later, designs are not good or if you feel fleeced.
• You cannot change your mind – you have to buy jewellery.

• Save as you feel including increasing / decreasing / starting / stopping as you feel.
• You can put in any bulk amount any time.
• Sell if there's a requirement.
• Time frame is your own decided and not scheme-decided.
• When you want to buy Gold, take out money and buy from where you feel the best and of latest designs.
• If change your mind for buying Gold, can treat it as just any other investment.
• My sense is that the cost paid in this will be far lesser than with a jeweler, all things including taxes and hidden charges etc.
