The global focus has been on inflation and containing it, which is fine. But it is fast turning into obsession which can be negative for global growth and financial stability. Each economy has a different way of working but the tools to contain inflation and currency volatility is limited, hence the policy issues and uncertainty.
2 days back, I wrote that we will continue to book profits and reduce our trading exposure. As the markets go higher, the possibility of incremental rise limits itself. Hence, some profit booking is expected.
