Once a mom was very worried regarding growth of her 12 years old child. She always was thinking that why her child is not growing.
She visited many child specialist doctors to take proper advise but doctors said her clearly that her child growth was absolutely normal.
Once her elder brother visited her home from USA. He was visited after 10 years. He saw the kid when he was just 2 years old last time.
The movement her brother saw her child he suddenly shouted with exitement...."OMG you have grown up do fast my child". They both started playing.
Now the question is what do you think might have happened with the mother. Why didn't she noticed this change.
Its normal human behaviour, a child grows slowly day by day and since he live with their parents so they cant identify these minor changes. But someone from outside who did not see the child regularly can easily identify the change.
So whats the message for the investors
Stop looking at markets , your portfolio value or mutual fund NAV on daily basis. If you are confident on your investment then it will grow up only. But looking at it everyday will create panic in your mind because in short term markets are always volatile.
