New World Order : Post Chinese Virus

There will be a longish transition phase from the old to the new. Our take on the new world:  Politically, authoritarianism will gain across the globe at the cost of democracy. 

1. US dominance will certainly take a hit.  Though China will definitely make efforts to fill the gap, its leadership will not be readily accepted.

2. The Chinese economy will be marginally affected as manufacturing will not be concentrated there.

3. Smaller nations like Vietnam, Bangladesh, etc will give a fillip to world economics, becoming new manufacturing hubs of the world.

4. The globalization run of economies will slow down and free movement of goods and people will definitely get affected. 'Markets' will get redefined, ie, Sourcing and consumption of items will be restricted within a region/ state.

5. It'll take a lot of negotiations and hard bargaining by Germany and France to keep the EU intact.

6. Oil economies will lose their shine, though it'll take quite some time for its sheen to shed off.

7. India's stock is sure to rise post the pandemic, naysayers notwithstanding.

8. The global leadership vacuum may lead to new states gaining prominence- my take is that India, China(with Russia) and the US will be the new pivots of the emerging world.

9. Asia will be the new America.

10. Work from Home will be the new "corporate mantra" as it cuts overall company costs. As a result, real estate will take a big hit globally.

11. Govt sector jobs will be back in demand across the globe.

12. Concerns for the environment will get a boost with more nations devoting greater budgetary allocations to it. 

However, Money will continue to be the only God! Thus skip tomorrow trading tips at your peril as money is not everything but is definitely required to help you live a cushy life.
