Post RBI tightening the screws of Paypal it has launched a dedicated page for Indian users and one will have a different set of terms and conditions to follow coupled with Paypal auto debit which is worth checking. Below screenshots shows that how you can get started with them:
- Sign up for a PayPal account and add your PAN card details : Sign up for your free PayPal Business account using your business name as shown on your Permanent Account Number (PAN) card. Make sure it's exactly the same for ease of processing. Add your PAN card details.
- Add your local bank account and Purpose code : You'll need to add a few key details to get started. Make sure you have your local bank account details ready before you start. You will also need to select a Purpose Code which indicates the nature of the goods and services you intend to sell.
- Start selling anywhere in the world : Once you've set up your PayPal account and added your PAN, Purpose Code and local bank account details, you will be able to receive payments for goods and services sold, up to US$3,000 per transaction.
