Unique Registration Number (URN) is a unique 6 digit number sent to your mobile phone by ICICI bank when you are trying to add a Payee and this URN is to be used to confirm the Payee.
A point here to note is that is if you have registered for 'i-safe' mobile application, please generate Unique Registration number (URN) through your mobile phone, else the URN will be sent to your mobile number registered with us.
If you have received the Unique Registration Number (URN) on your mobile, please confirm the payee.
Action to be undertaken on Non Receipt of URN in Mobile Phone
If you don't receive the URN, please make a request by sending URN < space > < payee nickname > in an SMS to 5676766 or 9215676766. This information is sensitive and you are requested not to share it with anyone. (Not applicable for Account to Card transfer). This info needs be sent through your registered mobile number with ICICI bank.
