It is amazing that at such high positions people are present with fake degrees. Check the recent case of Yahoo's CEO Scott Thompson who has been found to possess a fake degree and now Ross Levinsohn of Yahoo’s media brand will take over as interim CEO.
The news comes more than a week after it was discovered Thompson's resume listed a computer science degree, which he never earned. Thompson is likely to cite "personal reasons" when he officially announces the move.
Yahoo's board will reach a settlement with Dan Loeb as he was the shareholder who discovered Thompson's fake computer science degree.
So companies have to be careful at all levels and one has to be careful while interacting in social media because when one becomes a celebrity, his personal life do not remain personal and it always has a preying eyes of the competitors.
