Strikes by organisations in India shows that the Indian govt is weak and can be brought to knees with slight pressure. Take the recent case where Civil aviation Minister was talking tough, however he had to eat his words after 10 days of Air India strike. Have a look at the deal which has been finalised to get the strike called off after 10 days:
Captain Rishabh Kapoor the President of the Indian Commercial Pilots Association (ICPA), , told newspersons that strike was called off late on Friday night.
“After 10 p.m. tonight, we will all report back to duty and passengers will be able to fly on Air India. This has been done as we got assurance from the Government. Some issues have been resolved and some will be. The Government has said that the Justice Dharmadikari Committee report will be implemented by November,”
Indications of a Weak Indian Govt
Ministry of Civil Aviation has also agreed for reinstating of the sacked pilots and Indian Commercial Pilots Association (ICPA) will be again recognised as it was derecognised to put pressure on striking pilots.
Verdict
