Pink elephant is a state of mind which thinks of an idea which has been propagated that one should not think of the same. This has been amplytested and verified by American linguist George Lakoff who would test his cognitive science students by telling them not to think of “pink elephants.”
Now the best thing occurs is that mind starts thinking of pink elephants only as the idea has been planted in the mind. A further research on said subject has been undertaken by Lakoff in his book Don’t Think of an Elephant, on the subject of framing in politics.
The moral of the whole story is that when someone tells not to think of the market and now tendency gets in his mind to think about the market only.
