US has to accept the fact it loves working with Indian companies particularly in IT sector (development centres) as these companies have contributed $ 15 billion in taxes alone in the last five years for US.
As a rough estimate of NASSCOM, the Indian industry employs over 100,000 in the US up from 20,000 six years ago and thus US should make sure that stringent visa regulations do not act as a non-tariff barrier. Thus US must make sure that economic challenges in the US would not lead to protectionism and IT industry should be seen by it a source to garner revenues.
