National Housing Bank (NHB), monitors the property prices through an index by name of Residex and its data shows that prices of residential properties in Mumbai and Kolkata have seen a downward correction while residential property in Surat rose by 9.4 per cent , Chennai at 9.2 per cent, Pune at 8.9 per cent, Delhi 8.4 per cent, Bengaluru 7.5 per cent, Lucknow rose by 7.1 per cent, Faridabad 5.8 per cent, Ahmedabad 2.5 per cent and Bhopal 1.4 per cent during quarter.
