Suryajyoti Spinning Mills (SURYAJOTS), incorporated on May 23, 1983, is a producer of yarn in cotton, polyester, viscose and polyester viscose blends. The company produces yarn in the count range of Ne 20 - Ne 40 which is auto leveled and auto coned. The three manufacturing facilities are located at Makthal, Burgul, and Rajapur in the Mahboobnagar district of Andhra Pradesh. They have a combined manufacturing capacity comprising of 73,360 spindles as on Mar. 31, 2007. The Makthal mill largely manufactures cotton yarn of medium to coarser counts; the Burgul unit is dedicated to the production of synthetic and blended yarns, and the Rajapur unit produces only cotton yarn of higher counts. The management continues to expand capacity and modernize the units frequently to ensure quality at all levels. Awarded with a export trading house status by the Government of India, the company exports its products to Portugal, Turkey, Japan, China, Korea, Hong Kong, and the new markets of Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Czech Republic and others.
