Supreme Industries (SUPREMEIND) manufactures a range of plastic products. It was incorporated in 1942. The company`s product spectrum includes molded furniture like Ornate and Pearl series of chairs and stools, tables, trolleys and racks; molds for products upto 1,800 mm length and 500 mm width; storage and material handling crates; petrochemicals range in polystyrene; cross laminated films under the SIlpaulin brand name; food disposable serviceware thermoformed from polystyrene; high performance packing films like co-extruded multi-layer barrier films; engineering molded products and turnkey services design to finished product; rigid PVC films including Suvylpharm, Suvylform, Suvydur, etc; protective packaging like Armour (expanded polyethylene foam), Capcell (crosslinked PE foam), Fomgard (PE netting), etc; and plastic piping systems for soil, water, and rainwater. The ISO 9001, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 certified plants totaling 18 in number are spread throughout the country. The company delivers around 40 molds a year for 180 to 1,600 tons machine capacity. Supreme Petrochem, promoted by the company, will have a capacity of 272,000 TPA with technology from the erstwhile Huntsman Chemical Corporation, USA (now with Nova Chemicals, Canada). It has a 7,400 TPA plant in Halol, Gujarat with technology from Rasmussen Polymer Development AG of Switzerland. The co-extruded barrier films capacity is over 7,500 MT per annum. The company has an installed molding capacity for machines ranging from 250 to 2,250 locking tonnage. Pipers are manufactured with a capacity of over 43,000 TPA of pipes and 7,000 TPA of fittings. The company has entered into a toll manufacturing agreement with Kloeckner Pentaplast of Germany in its bid to exit from the non-core activities of rigid PVC films and PVDC films.
