The company imports technology and machines from global players like Siti, Ankora, BMR, Barbenni, and Tanotzzi from Italy. An investment of Rs 400 million has gone in to expand its existing production capacity to 18.5 million sq. m. per annum from the existing 13.69 million sq. m. per annum. The company imports brands like Keraben, Mijares, Roman and KaleBodur from Europe to cater to niche markets and Missoni and VigorBoom from China for the next category. Enigma Interiors and Consultants, an interior design solutions company and part of the Somany group, have designed the Somany fineline stores launched in Gurgaon and Mumbai. These stores will showcase only imported tiles from Italy, Spain, Indonesia, and Turkey and the signature collection from Somany. The company has a joint venture agreement with Keraben S.A. for manufacturing, promoting, distributing and selling products in India and other countries. It has a network of Planet Somany outlets, branches and regional offices across the country and exports to the Middle East, Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Australia.
