Munjal Auto Industries (formerly Gujarat Cycles) is a Hero Group company, established in 1987. It is a 100% EOU and has manufacturing plants at Waghodia, Gujarat and Binola, Haryana (Munjal Auto Components, a unit established in 1999 and now known as Shivam Autotech). Shivam Autotech is autonomous and produces Gear Blanks, Spline Shafts, Finished Gears & Plungers. At Waghodia, Munjal Auto Industries is equipped to make sheet metal/plated/painted auto components, and at Binola it has set up facilities to make cold and warm forged gear blanks for motorcycles. Munjal Auto products include electro plated and painted exhaust mufflers for motorcycles and scooters, electro plated rims for motorcycles, steel wheel rims for scooters and passenger cars, precision sheet metal parts / modules and side step assembly complete for MUVs and SUVs. Munjal Auto Industries is also in the business of manufacturing exhaust systems for two-wheeler four-stroke engines made in collaboration with Honda Motors, Japan as also manufacturing other auto components and rim wheels. The company exports to United States, Germany, France, UK and Australia, in addition to supplying parts for the Hero group.
