The company`s principal activities involve the construction of malls, offices, hotels and residential townships and apartments. The company has developed many low and medium range residential properties, mainly in Northern India. AHCL`s residential townships include East End, Aashiana, Green Glades and Aavantika, to name a few. The company is in the process of developing more than 10 residential townships.

During the quarter, the company`s net profit went up 2.29 times to Rs. 91.15 million from Rs. 39.89 million in the corresponding quarter. Sales for the quarter rose 82.40% to Rs. 477.90 million compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago.

The company reported a rise of 55.02% in standalone net profit on y-o-y basis to Rs 69.64 million, while total income climbed 45.30% y-o-y basis to Rs 691.07 million for the quarter ended December 2010.
