Ankur Drugs & Pharma (ANKURDR) is engaged in manufacturing pharma formulations in various dosage forms for leading Indian companies. Incorporated as Mridol Pharmaceuticals on Feb. 9, 1995, it got its present name on Apr. 30, 1999. The company manufactures tablets, capsules, liquid orals, dry syrups, injectables, effervescent tablets and powders, water for injection, eye and ear drops and ointments. Two manufacturing plants are located at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh and one in the Union Territory of Daman with installed capacities of 1,440 million tablets, 270 million capsules, 12 million dry syrup bottles and 24 million liquid syrup bottles. Financials The company announced fall of 171.39% in standalone net profit on y-o-y basis to Rs 200.89 million, while total income declined 42.34% y-o-y basis to Rs 1.50 billion for the quarter ended December 2010.
