Reliance Industrial Infrastructure (RELIANCEINF), part of the Reliance group, is engaged in construction and setting up of industrial infrastructure and project related activities. It was incorporated on Sep. 29, 1988. The company undertook a project for laying of two cross country pipelines from Bharat Petroleum Corporation`s (BPCL) refinery at Chembur in Bombay, Maharashtra to Reliance Industries (RIL) Petrochemicals complex at Patalganga in Maharashtra to transport petroleum feedstock from BPCL for the exclusive use of RIL. The pipelines would be owned, maintained and operated by the company under an agreement entered into with RIL. The pipelines would be used for transport of its petroleum feedstock. Reliance Industrial Infrastructure undertakes infrastructure activities for group and other companies. It is also involved in the leasing business.
