Pitti Laminations (PITLA), incorporated in 1983, is a Hyderabad-based company engaged in the manufacture of electrical laminations. The ISO 9001:2000 certified company manufactures electrical laminations upto a diameter of 1,300 mm for application in industrial motors, DC machines, traction motors, pumps, train lighting generators, alternators, aeronautics, medical diagnostics equipments, windmill generators, die-cast rotors, duly balanced built-up rotors and assembled stators. It also manufactures diecast rotors, tools, jigs, fixtures and molds. These products find application in all types of motors, alternators, pump sets and DG sets. The two manufacturing plants are located in the Mahaboobnagar district of Andhra Pradesh with a total installed capacity of 25,000 MTPA stampings. Products are supplied to Siemens, Areva, Toyo Denki Power Systems (TOPS), Crompton Greaves, Suzlon and ABB among others in the domestic market and GE Transportation Systems in USA is supplied with assembled motor stator cores, die-cast rotor, rotor laminations and pole brick assemblies.
