Bhansali Engineering Polymers (BEPL), incorporated in 1986, is a vertically integrated company manufacturing acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and styrene acrylonitrile polymers (SAN). The ISO 9001:2000 certified company manufactures and produces a variety of specialty grades and 1,200 different color shades of ABS and its alloys and SAN meeting customer requirements in different applications. The resins are marketed under the brand names Abstron, Santron, and High Rubber Graft and form raw materials for companies dealing in automobiles, home appliances, telephones, electrical and electronics appliances, business machines, luggage, stationery, novelties and various other products. The manufacturing units are located in the Sirohi district of Rajasthan and Chindwara district of Madhya Pradesh. It has a technical collaboration agreement with Sumitomo Chemical Engineering Company of Japan. Extensive research and development efforts help in developing ABS grades for client specific applications. The major client list includes large Indian brands like Bajaj, Fiat, Maruti Udyog, TVS, Mahindra & Mahindra in the automobile sector; Aquaguard, LG, Electrolux and several others in the home appliances sector; Onida, Sanyo, Voltas, and Whirlpool in the electronics and telecommunication segment; and Samsonite and VIP in the luggage sector.
