Ratnamani Metals & Tubes (RATNAMETQ), incorporated on Sep. 15, 1983, is a multi-product, multi-location company providing piping solutions to a diverse range of industries. It is part of the Ratnamani group, which also includes Ratnamani Techno Casts as a group company. The ISO 9001:2000 certified company manufactures high frequency welded and submerged arc welded (SAW) carbon steel pipes; seamless tubes and pipes, welded tubes and pipes and electric fusion welded stainless steel pipes.
The manufacturing plants are located in the Mehsana, Gandhinagar and Kutch districts of Gujarat with installed capacities of 300,000 MTPA carbon steel tubes and pipes and 18,900 MTPA stainless steel tubes and pipes as on Mar. 31, 2007. It has set up 23 wind mills and one is to be commissioned in 2007-2008, which would take the total installed capacity to 20.54 MW. Various kinds of SAW pipes are manufactured as per customer requirements. The company operates mobile plants to manufacture pipes at customer preferred locations and caters to sectors such as oil and gas, refineries, petrochemicals, process industries, power plants and water distribution. Major export destinations include Germany, France, UK, Egypt, USA, Holland, UAE, Belgium, Indonesia and Australia.
