Denso India (DENSO) is primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of electrical automotive components. Established in 1984, it is a 52.9% subsidiary of a leading supplier of advanced automotive technology, systems and components for the world`s major automakers, Denso Corporation, Japan. Other subsidiaries in India include Denso Haryana (100% subsidiary), manufacturing fuel pumps, injectors, engine control units; Denso Kirloskar Industries (89% subsidiary), manufacturing radiators and car air conditioners; Denso Sales India (100% subsidiary), selling automotive components manufactured by companies in India; and Denso Faridabad (100% subsidiary), which is engaged in the manufacture and sale of HVAC units and heaters. The company manufactures electrical automotive components, electric fans, ventilators, magnetos and windshield wiper motors. It has its manufacturing facility located at Tilpatta in Uttar Pradesh with installed capacities of 375,000 alternators and generators, 548,000 starter motors, and 650,000 wiper motors. It is an OEM supplier to companies like Maruti Suzuki, Hero Honda, Toyoto, Bajaj Auto and Greaves Cotton.
