Pratibha Industries (PRATIBHA), the flagship company of the Pratibha Group, is engaged in infrastructure and construction activities. It was incorporated on July 19, 1995. The company is engaged in the design, engineering and execution/construction of complex and integrated water transmission and distribution projects, water treatment plants, elevated and underground reservoirs, commercial complexes, urban infrastructure and mass housing projects, pre-cast design and construction, road construction and real estate. Recent projects completed include cement concrete roads for MMRDA, a major bridge for MSRDC, cement concrete roads for Thane Municipal Corporation, the Ghansoli (New Mumbai) railway station complex, construction of mall in Mulund (Mumbai) admeasuring 650,000 sq. ft., and a circulating water pipeline works for NTPC. Pratibha Industries has bagged contracts from the Indore Development Authority for a road construction project and several contracts for water supply schemes from Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (two contracts), Indore Municipal Corporation (two contracts), Jabalpur Municipal Corporation for Project Uday, and J & K Economic Reconstruction Agency. The Municipal Corporation of Brihanmumbai employed granted contracts for construction of a tunnel and allied works at Modak Sagar for transportation of water and a tunnel from Malabar Hill to Cross Maidan in Mumbai. An order worth Rs 656 million from Airport Authority of India included the modular expansion of its terminal building at Amritsar airport and Amritsar (Phase II). The company has an order book position of over Rs 7,000 million. A new saw pipes division was launched in 2007. The company has secured a contract for construction of residential buildings in Mumbai from Raheja Universal. The value of the contract is Rs 630 million.
Results Update
Pratibha Industries announced bagging of two prestigious orders in the building and one in the water segment. The combined value from both the sectors amounts to Rs. 571 crore. The Company has bagged a project valued at Rs. 362 crore from Runwal Homes Pvt Ltd for the civil and structural work of a residential building 'Runwal Greens' located at Mulund-Goregaon Link Road, Mulund (West). The other project bagged is from Lodha Group valued at Rs. 179 crore for its prestigious project 'Casa Rio'. This involves the construction of 58 buildings for the integrated township to be set up at Dombivali.
