Lloyd Electric & Engineering (LLOYDELE) is engaged in the manufacture of air conditioners, components and spares. It was incorporated on Nov. 10, 1987 as a private limited company and was converted into a public limited company on April 18, 1994. The ISO 9000 certified company manufactures heat exchanger coils, U bends and return bends for heat exchanger coils, system tubing and heading line for air-conditioning equipment and sheet metal parts. The company has its manufacturing units in the Alwar district of Rajasthan, Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh and Dehradun in Uttaranchal with an installed capacity of 300,000 sheet metal items, 402,000 air conditioners, 1,225,000 condenser and evaporator coils, 10,000 components for air conditioning systems, and 10,000 fan coils. In FY07, the company commenced production at its new facilities in Dehradun, Uttaranchal. It is a market leader and supplies its products to major original equipment manufacturers like Voltas, Carrier, Samsung, Whirlpool, Daikin among others and exports to the Middle East, Australia, Asia and African markets.
