JHS Svendgaard Laboratories (JHS) is a dental and oral healthcare products manufacturing company. It was incorporated on Oct. 04, 2004. The company offers power products like teeth whitening gel, flashing baby brushes, and anti-bacterial toothbrush; toothpaste and mouth rinse; denture products like freshening strips and dental plate brushes; manual toothbrushes; and tongue cleaners. Two production units are located in New Delhi and a 100% export oriented unit in the Noida Special Economic Zone (Unit III), Uttar Pradesh. The company chooses to be the preferred contract manufacturer to retail chains in India as well as to those who plan to enter the Indian market. It has entered the local market though with its own brand of toothpaste called Taazgi. The company is ISO 9001:2000 certified. Sunehari Svendgaard Laboratories (a unit of the company) is ISO 9001:2000 certified. The company has won awards like the Top Exporter Award for toothbrushes including dental plate brushes for 2005-2006 awarded by the PLEX Council, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The company undertakes contract manufacturing for well known domestic and international markets. In September 2007, the company secured an order from Subhiksha Retail for making toothpaste and tooth brushes under the brand name Dr Beam.
