The manufacturing units are located in Barjora, West Bengal (BOPP films); Faridabad, Haryana (COEX extrusion unit); Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh (thermoforming unit); Ranjangaon, Maharashtra (co-extruded plastic sheets and thermosets). The installed capacity is 21,100 MTPA thermoplastic films and sheets, and 9,250 MTPA thermosetting powders and synthetic resins. Terxpro Films, a joint venture with Terichem as., Slovakia representing the Rani Group, has a BOPP films unit at Pitampur in Madhya Pradesh. The BOPP films and co-extruded cast films find application in the packaging sector like adhesive tapes, processed foods, overwraps; in the belting industry, lamination; in surgical napkins and drapes.
The co-extruded sheets meet customer specifications and needs in refrigerator doors and cabinet liners, disposable cups and containers, and industrial thermoforming applications. Thermoset molding materials and synthetic resins offered by this unit are widely used in electrical accessories and components, textile machinery railway signaling parts, grinding wheels, automotive parts, friction materials, laminates, melamine crockery, adhesives, inks and tire industries. Financials The company disclosed fall of 14.70% in standalone net profit on y-o-y basis to Rs 15.41 million, while total income rose 40.92% y-o-y basis to Rs 670.71 million for the quarter ended December 2010.
