Vaibhav Gems (VAIBHAVG) is engaged in the manufacture and marketing of gemstones, diamonds, and jewelry and was incorporated in 1989. The gemstones and diamond divisions are located at Adarsh Nagar in Jaipur, the jewelry and chain divisions in the export promotion industrial park at Sitapura in Jaipur with an installed capacity of over 0.4 million chains, and designing and product development centers in Jaipur and Mumbai. Among the many awards won by the company include the highest export award on All India basis in cut and polished colored gemstone category for the 16th time in 2006-2007 by the Gems and Jewelry Export Promotion Council, State Government. To expand its international business, 100% subsidiaries were formed to develop, manufacture and retail products including STS Jewels Inc. (USA) and its step-down subsidiaries; Jewel Gem USA Inc. to market in Alaska through its retail stores Milano Diamond Gallery; STS Gems Thai; STS Creations Thai; STS Gems (Hong Kong) and its subsidiary; STS Gems Japan; Indo Mexico Co. S. De R.L. De C.V. (Mexico) marketing through the retail store brand Milano Diamond Gallery in Mexico; Genoa Jewellers, BVI and its subsidiaries engaged in marketing jewelry, precious and semi precious stones and gift articles through retail chain stores and online 24-hour television shopping channels like www.thejewellerychannel.tv in UK, www.derschmuckkanal.de in Germany and www.tjc.tv in USA. The company is the largest exporter of colored gemstones from India supplying to stores like Wal-Mart, Macys, and Sears. To cater to the demand of high-end customers at major holiday destinations like Mexico, Alaska and the Caribbean, it set up seven retail stores in FY07 taking the total number of stores to nineteen. Arrangements with mining and procurement enterprises and agencies in Brazil and Africa ensures continued supply of tanzanite, tsavorite, pink tourmaline emerald and colored stone roughs.
