VA Tech Wabag Ltd., a global player in water and wastewater management, said it had bagged orders aggregating to 12.90 million euros from Switzerland and this announcement has led to a 3.3% rally in the stock price. Ever since its life-time high of Rs 722 (stock split adjusted) recorded in last October, the stock has been on a intermediate-term downtrend. In August 2011, the stock plunged sharply breaching its key medium-term support at Rs 452. However, after registering an all-time low at Rs 344 on September 9, the stock changed its direction triggered by positive divergence in daily relative strength index. It has been on a nascent uptrend since then.
