Tainwala Chemicals & Plastics India (TAINWALA) is engaged in the business of manufacturing and distribution of extruded plastic sheets of polymers. It was incorporated as a private limited company on Sept. 4, 1985 as and was converted into a public limited company on March 4, 1986. The company offers extruded plastic sheets of polymers like polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, high density polyethylene and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene.
These sheets are widely used in the fabrication of industrial equipments, lining of chemical tanks, automobiles and white goods industries, luggage industry, furniture, pollution control equipment, and in low cost housing projects. The manufacturing facilities are located at Silvassa in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Technical know-how was from Storelene AB of Sweden, Roussel Uclaf of France and Cincinnati Micaron of Australia. PVC sheets are supplied to various sewage treatment plant projects and water treatment projects undertaken by the government across the country.
