Rainbow Papers (RAINBOWPQ) is engaged in the manufacture of paper and paper boards. It was incorporated as a private limited company on Jul. 04, 1986 and became a public limited company on May 30, 1991. The Rainbow group comprises of the units Master Cote and Orient Crepe besides the company, each specializing in different types of paper. The ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS-18001 certified company manufactures HWC duplex boards, cast-coated, color, Manila/Bristol, and MG poster paper and boards. It has its manufacturing unit on the Kalol-Mehsana Highway in North Gujarat with an installed capacity of 300 TPD. To cater to its power needs, a 15 MW captive power plant has been set up. Prestigious awards won by the company in 2008 include the second position as importer at ICD - Sabarmati awarded by Container Corporation of India; first runner-up for International Supply Chain - Export/Import awarded by Gujarat Logistics Award 2007, part of the Economic Times Group; and Best Award for Concept & Design in Paperex 2007, which is the 8th International Trade Fair And Conference On Pulp, Paper & Conversion. Products are now exported to over 21 countries with major destinations including USA, the Middle East, South Africa, South East Asia and the UK.
