It is going to be a great news as HDFC Bank has launched its service of paying income tax through its atm machines and thus now more than 115 lakh debit card holders can pay income tax through the bank’s ATMs. This means an end to long waits at the counters to pay income tax.
For availing the service, customers will have to register themselves and the ATM payment option will be activated immediately. This is a win-win situation for the bank as well as customer as now the bank will get more patrons and customers will not face the ordeal of standing in lines.
