A top marketer of soaps and detergents, it has the country`s largest personal products business such as leading in shampoos, skin care products, color cosmetics, deodorants and fragrances. It is also a top player in tea, processed coffee, branded wheat flour, tomato products, ice cream, jams and squashes manufactured in around 80 factories nationwide. It also has a presence in specialty and bulk chemicals, animal feed and fertilizers. One of the country`s largest exporters, HUL has been recognized as a golden super star trading house by the Government of India. The company has mainly grown through the inorganic route.
