Nagreeka Capital & Infrastructure (NAGREECAP), incorporated on Oct. 31, 1994, is engaged in capital and money market operations. Earlier known as Nagreeka Software Technologies, it got its present name with effect from Jul. 12, 2006. The company is part of the Nagreeka group, which has diversified business interests in exports, manufacturing of aluminum foil laminates and heat shrink products, besides investments and infrastructure. Nagreeka Exports, Nagreeka Foils and Mala Overseas are other group companies. The company handles a portfolio with a market value of around Rs 2,500 million. As a fund, it has 90% of its investment in the Sterlite group. The fund holds close to about 4.33 million shares in Sterlite Industries and about 342,000 shares in Sterlite Opticals.
