It was intriguing to see the stock market rally so quickly post a steep fall and thus same can be clubbed under category as dead cat bounce. However real reason for today market upbeat mood was caused due to comments made by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who stated that India can achieve a growth of 8% to 9% with a high savings rate. The point here to note is that this upmove is good for the market and thus one need to keep support for Sensex under watch which is at 15000 with resistance at 15480-16046. Support for NSE Nifty exists at 4499 with resistance at 4620-4789. The nifty pivot stands at Pivot 4489.
Satyam Scam Update
Satyam profits were revealed for open offer and as a result Satyam had a field day with its standalone net profit of Rs 52 crore for the month ended February 2009 as against a net profit of Rs four crore in January this year. People are moving for safer pastures as 9,447 employees have left the company wef January 2008 to February 2009. Another 1,600 people have quit Satyam in February 2009.
