(a) Worldwide emergency number for Mobile is 112. By dialling this number phone will auto search for the network even if same is non existant. However the number may not be enabled by a service provider in any particular country.
(b) One can use the phone as a transmitter also for the car which has remote key locking function. If you have locked the keys in the car and car has remote keys; than saving grace is in form of duplicate keys at any distance. Just make the person with duplicate remote key to press the key near the phone receiver and you keep your phone about a feet from car. Moment the keys are pressed across any distance, the car is unlocked.
(c) In case Nokia battery is low and no access for charging than press the keys *3370# and your mobile will restart with reserve power and phone will show a 50% increase in battery. This >reserve will get charged when u charge your cell next time.
