1. The mental agony of the traders was a bit eased as week end to end basis market closed higher with BSE Sensex registering a gain of 3% and the NSE Nifty registering a gain of 2.8%.
2. Midcaps and smallcaps stole the lime light with CNX Midcap index gaining 4.5% and BSE Smallcap index gaining 4.8% over the week.
3. Best Sector-wise performance was by BSE Oil & gas index which added 7.3%, BSE Capital Goods index, 5%, BSE Bankex, 4.5% and BSE Metal index, 3.9%.
4. Worst is not yet over for BSE IT index as it lost lost 0.8% over the week.
