1. It was a bad week where market made losses and same can be seen from the fact that Sensex shed 6.2% and the Nifty shed 5.9%.
2. Only comparative solace has been in midcaps and smallcaps segment where CNX Midcap index lost 3.6% and BSE Smallcap index lost 2.3%.
3. The worst was BSE Capital Goods index which took a huge hit of 12.6% over the week and the same was followed by BSE Metal index which was down by 8.1%.
4. It is interesting to note that reality which was darling of every body was also not spared with BSE Realty index down by 7.7%.
5. BSE Bankex lost 7.4%.
6. BSE IT, FMCG and Oil & Gas indices were down by over 1% over the week.
7. Let us see whether coming week shows some improvement else it can be rangebound at best.
